Founder, Pitmaster and Chef Gregory Moody, believes in the power of simplicity, where quality ingredients shines, and where every bite is a celebration. barbecue is more than just putting meat on a grill, We don't just barbecue we craft experience, one smoked masterpiece at a time. he has been Barbecuing since the ripe old age of 6. It has been a passion of his to make hungry people happy with is signature seasoning and perfectly smoke meats. Mr. Moody graduated from Washington State University, he has been barbecuing professionally for 13 years, and has since won several awards doing what he does best including the prestigious New Times 2024 Best BBQ of Miami. His saying is try it once and you'll be hooked.
Chef Latesha Grier, Born and raised in Miami, she graduated from North Western High School, (Go Bulls). She started out cooking with her mom's church, from that point on she knew she had a passion for cooking. She has an extensive background cooking in hotels, as a Sous Chef, Prep Chef, and finally as an Executive Chef using her signature recipes past down from generations, chef Latesha has carved out a name for herself in the Miami area. Now she has teamed up with Mr. Moody and Smokey Trails BBQ, combining her signature sides and deserts to his famous BBQ, making them an amazing team.
